Weiss-Johnson moved into its new location at 5803 Roper Road in September 2012 and had a grand opening event November 22, 2012 where we invited family, friends and our builders to show off our new home. The building was designed by Mark and Donald Johnson and we have had to redevelop mezzanine storage space into more offices as the company grew exponentially in 2015 and 2016. We have also had to add outdoor storage space and more mezzanine space as we continue to expand.
Our showroom has been a key component to our business as we have on display all kinds of options that a customer may want to look at adding to their home mechanical system. Weiss-Johnson strongly believes that the mechanical system is the heart of your home and it is often overlooked for the bling or sexy items of a home like hardwood floors, granite counter tops, and fancy plumbing fixtures and lighting. The problem we are seeing though is that someone can dress their home up to the nines but if they aren’t comfortable in their home, they won’t be happy in their home.
We have training sessions regularly for our home builders and their sales teams to help educate them on all of the newest and greatest heating advances that are out there. We find that when people know the advantages of upgrading their furnace to a higher end model that will save them more money, is quieter, and make their home more comfortable throughout their home they are willing to pay a little more for comfort. We have on display numerous types of furnaces, air conditioners, thermostats, humidifiers, garage heaters, air cleaning equipment, and HRV’s to educate the consumer of what is available to make their home more comfortable and to accommodate most people’s budgets.
